Owner Kane Lloyd of Westmoreland Berry Farm offers some of the area’s best fresh-picked seasonal berries. They have shown impressive dedication to sustainable farming over the years, including the creation of an expansive water catchment pond used for irrigation and the incredible donation of 729 acres of land to the Nature Conservancy for the creation of Voorhees Nature Preserve. While they grow a variety of berries and fruit, Westmoreland is well known for their 15 varieties of blackberries which allows them to stretch the harvests from the June to September. Did you know that blackberries boast the highest levels of antioxidants of all fruits? The farm also harvests strawberries, nectarines, peaches, and tomatoes. If you plan a visit to the farm, you can pick berries with your family and visit their playful and energetic goats!
