Founded in 2000 by partners Mike Koch & Pablo Solanet, FireFly Farms is located in western Maryland’s Garrett County and home to some award winning cheeses.

Mike and Pablo originally bought their farm around 1997. Mike’s strategic business and marketing skills partnered with Pablo’s love of fine food allowed FireFly Farms to burst into the Washington DC Metro area’s restaurant scene. Their national and international award winning cheeses are made with the distinct flavors of the Allegheny Plateau. Delicious goat cheese, local ingredients and sustainable practices make this cheese making company the perfect partner for Keany Produce & Gourmet.
