Overview:
The Delivery Driver ensures that produce, dairy, and dry good products are delivered to customers in a manner that meets or exceeds customer expectations. The Delivery Driver is also responsible for communicating any customer preferences or issues to the Transportation Department Managers and Supervisors as well as the Customer Care Department. Finally, the Delivery Driver is responsible for operating vehicles in a safe and professional manner as well as reporting any vehicle maintenance issues using proper inspection format and verbal communication to supervisors.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Performs deliveries, pick-ups, and returns of produce, dairy products, and dry goods to/from customers and suppliers.

Overview:
Order Selectors are the front line to all customer orders as their main function is to prepare product from inventory for outbound shipping. The order selector is responsible for selecting customer orders and fulfilling them as quickly and as accurately as possible, this includes selecting, staging, palletizing and loading of customer orders to be delivered without damage or error.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Reading customer orders accurately.
- Locating and selecting the specific warehouse items to fulfill the customer’s order.
- Operating Electric Riding Jack and other warehouse machinery to stack items and prepare orders for shipping.
- Placing the prepared orders in the correct dock slips for loading onto shipping trucks.
- Performing visual inspections of orders to ensure they are correct and ready for shipment.

Overview:
A Keany Produce Account Executive is a sales and service position. This job is a salary plus commission position – salary will reduce monthly once you’re on commission until you are paid fully by commission. Account Executives are required to complete CRM in real-time and visit at least 20 customers/prospects per day. They are the primary point of contact between their customers and Keany Produce and Gourmet. A love of food is not required, but strongly encouraged. If you are hard-working and like talking about food and the food industry, you will do well in this position.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Reading customer orders accurately
- Visit at least 20 customers and prospects per day and log all interactions into CRM.
- Enter CRM data daily to track sales pipeline progress accurately and effectively.

Job Title: Facility Maintenance Engineer-Richmond
Location: Richmond VA
Job Purpose/Objective:
The objective of the Precut Facility Maintenance Engineer is to supervise overall maintenance and condition of the Production facility while providing high level expertise with facility and equipment preventative maintenance, cleaning procedures, and repairs including the maintenance associated with the processing, packaging, and distributing of production items. In addition, proper procedures of preventative maintenance, food safety, cleaning procedures and operating procedures are to be documented and communicated to the maintenance and Precut employees. Maintain inventory of spare parts for all equipment to complete efficient repair of equipment to avoid production interruption. The Precut Facility Maintenance Engineer is expected to be available or schedule on call staff for Precut emergency issues as needed.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide quarterly and annual budget for the Precut maintenance department to Precut Management and Senior Leadership. Report and document expenses itemized by category in a timely fashion.
- Schedule self and technician/s for appropriate coverage of precut operations. Training, coaching and mentorship of technician/s and Precut employees for education in industry specific knowledge, efficiency of operation and timely completion of tasks. Communication with Precut Management on all issues, status, and planning for needed repairs, preventative maintenance, part, and supplies ordering.
- Manages maintenance service and repairs in the areas of flooring, plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, machine servicing, and electrical. This can include complex low voltage control wiring and high voltage as it pertains to specific industry equipment used in the Precut operation.
- Knowledgeable in the procedures and safety measures in all areas(s) of operations. Document safety procedures as well as any violations, with appropriate corrective actions needed. Assist in all food safety measures required to maintain audit ready status.
- Calibrate (i.e, Scale Calibration), adjust and perform preventative maintenance of equipment to ensure quality production according to manufactures specifications of production equipment. Calibration certification of all scales bi-annually by others, records of such maintained.
- Production equipment maintenance within the Precut operation department to include cleaning, adjusting, inspecting, preventative maintenance, and monitoring as a part of the daily operations within the Precut department.
- Knowledge and management of equipment protection measures required for food safety and cleaning requirements in a wet environment.
- Monitor and adjust production processes or equipment for quality and productivity.
- Order parts and maintain inventory of spare parts, blades, motors, VFD’s, transformers, relays, safety switches as well as all other materials and supplies for expedient repairs of facility and equipment, aligned with ongoing preventative maintenance.
- Pick up supplies, equipment, and company products from various off-site locations for use in the Precut facility.
- Work with outside plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other necessary vendors to facilitate preventative maintenance with receipt and use of supplies and parts pertaining to Precut maintenance responsibilities.

Job Purpose/Objective:
The Pre-cut Expeditor plays an essential role within the team by overseeing the flow of products entering and exiting the production process
Inbound Product. The Pre-Cut Expeditor manages the distribution of raw products to the decanting area and moves raw product from the warehouse into the precut room as needed.
Outbound Product. The Pre-Cut Expeditor manages the distribution of finished products from the packaging area to the finished product section of the warehouse.
Additionally, this role entails scanning products between warehouses and recording any discrepancies in inventory. The expeditor must communicate any modifications in the orders they process to the Shift Supervisor. They are also tasked with assessing the quality of raw materials entering the production area and the finished products being relocated. It is the expeditor’s duty to ensure that an adequate supply of products is available for employees to work with. Furthermore, the Pre-Cut Expeditor is responsible for adhering to standard food service practices, which include maintaining proper sanitation and following product distribution protocols within the Pre-Cut Department
Essential Job Functions:
- Collect lists from supervisors detailing the products needed in the production area during the shift. Scan and select the necessary items, bringing them into the room and arranging them for easy access by production staff. Move, count, scan, and verify finished products, transferring them to the designated finished goods section in the warehouse.
- Prevent production delays due to insufficient product availability by closely monitoring product flow, and the supply of materials for production employees. Ensure the products are transferred in a timely fashion, out of the packaging area, and do not back up or become cluttered.
- Maintain organization and documentation of production department raw product storage area, and finished product areas, as well as packaging.
- Give feedback to the supervisor about the pace and estimated time the production crew should finish their assignments. Identify employees not working at their full potential and alert supervisors.
- Give constructive criticism and feedback to managers about improvements in procedures. Check the quality of the product and alert supervisors to see if quality problems exist.
- Organize products for each line employee so they can maximize cutting time. Individual products should be placed behind employees, so they are able to move from item to item efficiently. Assist product loaders in the decant area to load product into line hoppers.

Job Purpose/Objectives
The Production Lead oversees the allocation of raw materials to various production teams and communicates raw product requests to the expeditor for fulfillment from the warehouse. Additionally, the lead is tasked with reporting any modifications in the orders they process to the Shift Supervisor. This role includes monitoring and recording the workflow pace for the entire production line, ensuring the quality of incoming raw materials, verifying the completion of finished products, and confirming that an adequate quantity of products is available for employee processing. Job Purpose/Objectives:
The Precut Machine loader plays a critical role in the distribution of raw products.
Inbound Product: The Pre-Cut Machine Loader manages the distribution of raw products in the decanting area into each production line.
The Machine Loader dumps cases or bins of unprocessed products into each line hopper to ensure continuous flow of product to employees and machines in the production room, and helps organize used boxes, crates, and bins after use.
Additional responsibility also includes counting, scanning, and documenting the product quantity and lot used per line, with any inventory anomalies. The Machine Loader will also be responsible for communicating any changes in the orders they fill with the Shift Supervisor. They will also be responsible for checking the quality of raw products they are putting onto the production lines. The Pre-Cut Machine Loader is responsible for standard food service work including proper sanitation duties and product distribution protocols within the Pre-Cut Department.

The Selector receives order assignments from warehouse dispatch and builds the routes that will be going out the next day. Responsible for avoiding shorts, miss-ships and damaged or outdated product going out to customers.

- Managing any add-ons for those routes and getting them together with the rest of the route.
